Lex’s photography incorporates both social and cultural issues, whilst also including creative family portraiture. Her passion to photograph people with her own unique style has grown over her 10 years’ experience in the industry.

 

Recently self-led projects have included encouraging women to feel comfortable breastfeeding in public places; photographing volunteers who want to show how discretely breastfeeding can be done, and sharing it on social media in the hope to normalise it completely. Secondly, Through photography Lex aims to challenge perceptions that female models should be a certain height, shape and size. Her hope is to create a more diverse style of fashion imagery using ordinary women in ordinary locations.

 

Lex successfully captures beauty and a sense of familiarity through her lens, through each of creatively led pathways.
